CLIENT: Antique Lighthouse, a Manayunk (Philadelphia) antique light dealer featuring high-end antiques.

CHALLENGE: Grow company nationally by selling its products online, even though each of the company’s more than 2000 products are unique.

SOLUTION: Design and implement a tailored marketing plan and e-commerce web solution.

STRATEGY: After researching competing online businesses, we constructed the most advanced antique lighting website on the internet. The site includes e-commerce with three tiers: purchase outright, make an offer, or buy at wholesale. But, it also has many other customized functions, such as tell-a-friend, wish-list, related-items, and a complex search engine. Behind the surface of the site, Syndicate Pictures developed advanced tracking options to profile shopping trends. We promoted the company through direct mail, newspaper advertising, and Google and Yahoo PPC advertising. We regularly analyzed and reviewed web log reports, PPC advertising reports, wish-list and keyword search data reports, and ran sales or promotions to address changes or trends.

RESULTS: The company’s sales skyrocketed 300% within two years of the website launch, and 90% of all purchases are now made through the website.
